Digital journalist Andre' Natta will spend December following and dissecting the public relations aspects of UAB terminating its football program. The results of Natta's findings will be revealed and discussed at our January luncheon.

André Natta is a digital journalist based in Birmingham, AL. He started The Terminal (an online publication about Alabama's largest city) in 2007. Natta has served as part of the organizing team for #wjchat, a long-running Twitter chat on issues related to online journalism, since 2011 and has previously contributed regularly to B-Metro Magazine and the Poynter Institute's "Regret the Error" column.

The Bronx, NY native attended the Savannah College of Art and Design; studied architectural history and architecture; and likes to write about urban revitalization and how the ongoing digital revolution influences the development of cities. He enjoys running, cooking, and gardening whenever he can pull himself away from the Internet. (There's also a constant need to have access to a baseball diamond.)
