Welcome to Alabama PRSA

The Alabama Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America serves the entire state, with members from Huntsville to Mobile. Our usual meeting times are on the second Tuesday of each month at Alabama Power Metro Auditorium 1313 6th Avenue North in Birmingham. Lunch is $20 for non-members and $10 for students.

We're always delighted to welcome new professionals moving into the area as well as students from the various public relations programs around the state. These are just a few of the benefits of joining the Alabama Chapter:

  • Informative meetings and development opportunities.
  • Unsurpassed networking with Alabama's top professionals.
  • Accreditation programs and much more!

Welcome to our new Alabama PRSA Web site! We’re excited about your interest in the  Alabama chapter of PRSA. We welcome your ideas and suggestions for making our  monthly programs, special events, professional development opportunities,  Web site,  Facebook page, newsletter and Tweets better and more useful to you.

Alabama PRSA members, more than 130 strong, include some of the best and brightest  communications professionals in the state. We work in the corporate world, at nonprofits, academic institutions, PR agencies, professional associations and as individual  practitioners. We live in big towns and small. But wherever we are, we’re passionate about  communications and our communities. We’d love to get you engaged in Alabama PRSA. Don’t hesitate to contact me and any of our chapter leaders or members to learn more.
